Shri Vethathiri Maharishi, was born in the year 1911 at Guduvancheri, a village near Chennai, in an indigent weaver's family in South India. Vethathiri led the life of a householder until he was 50. After that he comes into social service to the society. His vethathiriyum spreads everywhere in the world including USA, Europe, Malaysia, Singapore,South Korea,Japan, Mexico.
